Crab Cake Sandwiches
Crab Cake Sandwich
(Makes 2 sandwiches)
Crab
Cake Ingredients
· 12 oz of lump crab meat
· ¼ C Breadcrumbs - plain
· 3 T of Mayo
· 1 Egg - beaten
· 1 tsp Mustard
· 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
· 1 tsp Kosher Salt
· ¼ C Finely chopped green and red
peppers
· ¼ tsp White Pepper
Crab
Cake Directions:
1. Toss together all the ingredients
and mold into 6-8 oz patties
2. Heat olive oil in a pan
3. Cook for 3-4 minute per side
4. Toast the two rolls, and spoon
mixture over in the roll
5. Drizzle with remaining sauce
Remoulade
Ingredients
· 8 oz jar of tartar sauce
· 1 roasted bell pepper (or ½ of a
jar)
· 1 tsp Franks hot sauce
Remoulade
Directions
· Add tartar & bell peppers
sauce to a food processor
· Add Franks to desired heat
Lemon
Dill Sauce
· 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
· 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
· 2 tablespoons lemon juice
· 3 tablespoons grainy mustard
· 1 T of dill, chopped
· Salt and pepper to taste
Assembly
3 versions
· Maryland: Toasted bun, crab cake,
remoulade sauce, lettuce, and tomato
· Texican: Toasted bun, crab cake,
remoulade sauce (made with some chipotle in adobo sauce), avocado & a chili
lime sauce
· Nawlins: Toasted bun, crab cake
mixed andouille, remoulade sauce topped with red bell pepper
· Greek: Toasted bun, remoulade
sauce on bottom, crab cake, lettuce, and tomato
