Rub mixture

1/3 C dark
brown sugar
·
¼ C salt
·
¼ C garlic
powder
·
2 T black
pepper
·
2 T chili
powder
·
2 T onion
powder
·
2 T chipotle
chili pepper
·
1 T cayenne
pepper
·
1 T cumin
·
1 T dry
mustard
Directions
1.
Coat the butt
with a rub, wrap and refrigerate over night
2.
Remove the
butt from the fridge while you get the smoker ready
3.
Smoke for 1.5
hours p/lb - Cheater's note: I
smoke for ½ the time then wrap in tin foil and finish in the oven. The bone
will slide right out, retain the smoke flavor and shred easily.
