Korean BBQ Sauce
Korean BBQ sauce
2 Cups
· 1 C soy sauce
· ¾ C dark brown sugar
· 2 T minced garlic
· 1 T rice wine vinegar
· 2 tsp chili paste
· 1 tsp Calabrian pepper paste
· 1 tsp ginger, refrigerated type
· 1 tsp dark sesame oil
· 1 T cornstarch
· 1 tablespoon water
Directions
1. Stir soy sauce, brown sugar,
garlic, rice wine vinegar, chili paste, Calabrian pepper paste, ginger, sesame
oil together in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
2. Whisk cornstarch and water
together in a small bowl until the cornstarch dissolves; pour into boiling soy
sauce mixture.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and
cook until the sauce is thick, 3 to 5 minutes.
