Classic French Toast & Honey Truffle Butter

Classic French Toast & Truffle Honey Butter

Good for 2 people

Ingredients

·       3 tablespoons butter

·       1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

·       1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

·       2 tablespoons sugar

·       4 eggs

·       1/2 cup milk

·       1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

·       4 slices challah, brioche, or white bread

·       Maple syrup & powder sugar

Directions

1.     Heat butter in a large pan

2.    Mix cinnamon, nutmeg, eggs, milk and vanilla extract

3.    Dip bread in the mixture, flip and put into the pan 

4.     Cook on each side until it has browned

Honey Truffle Butter

·       6 T butter

·       2 tsp honey

·       1/4 tsp truffle salt

Directions

1.     Leave the butter out of the fridge until it softens (couple hours)

2.    Add in the honey & truffle salt, mix well

3.    Put the mixture in a ramekin and set it back in the fridge
